This little girl is a very special fan of Taylor Swift!
Throughout her journey on The Eras Tour, Taylor Swift has upheld a memorable tradition at each show by gifting a piece of her outfit to a lucky fan. On November 2, during the penultimate U.S. stop of the tour, Taylor had a heartwarming encounter with a special fan that moved many people.
During the segment dedicated to her fourth album, *Red*, Taylor walked down the catwalk while singing *22* and spotted an audience member standing at the edge of the stage. The singer bent down, took off her black hat, and gifted it to the fan.
The lucky fan who received Taylor’s *22* hat was named Eloise, a 7-year-old girl who hugged the singer tightly when she received the gift. Afterward, Taylor, born in 1989, seemed to tell Eloise, “The last time I saw you, you were just a baby,” while mimicking the act of holding a newborn.
It was revealed that seven years ago, Eloise’s mother, Cindy Childs, held a livestream on her Instagram page to introduce her newborn daughter to her followers. To her surprise, Taylor Swift joined the livestream and commented. Cindy Childs, a longtime Swiftie (Taylor Swift fan), chatted with Taylor and showed her baby Eloise, who was then just a few months old.
According to screenshots shared by fans, Taylor left several comments during Cindy Childs’ livestream, including comments in all caps like “ELOISE” and “She’s so tiny, and I’m sure I’ll see her and A when they’re just 3 months old, and I just want a LITTLE BIT OF REST.” The concert on November 2 marked Eloise’s first time seeing Taylor Swift perform since her birth.
Taylor Nation’s official X (formerly Twitter) account shared the news about this special moment: “It was a full-circle moment when Taylor finally got to meet Eloise. Seven years in the making! We’re so happy for her!” Not only were the main characters in this story touched, but many of Taylor Swift’s fans were also deeply moved by this sweet moment.
