Coming from a family of Croatian immigrants, Miocic has reached the pinnacle of his career through extraordinary talent and unwavering determination. First Steps into the UFC

Miocic began his professional MMA career in 2010, and it took him only two years to join the UFC, the premier MMA organization in the world. His debut fight in the UFC occurred in 2011, where he faced Joey Beltran and secured victory through impressive grappling skills and sheer power. A string of subsequent wins propelled Miocic to the top of the heavyweight rankings.

Journey to the UFC Heavyweight Championship

In 2016, Miocic entered the most crucial match of his career against Fabricio Werdum, the reigning UFC heavyweight champion. With superior strategy and strength, Miocic knocked out Werdum in the first round, becoming the heavyweight champion. Since then, he has set a remarkable record by successfully defending his title three times against formidable opponents such as Junior dos Santos, Alistair Overeem, and notably in a trilogy of epic battles with Daniel Cormier.
